Claire Andrews Dance Academy was established in 2015 in Beaconsfield. We provide fun, friendly, energetic dance classes to all age groups. We want to encourage people to love to dance and have fun with their friends, whilst learning technique and developing an understanding of rhythm, musicality and performance. We make everyone feel welcomed and at ease.
At CADA, we offer expert tution from ex-professional dancers and qualified dance teachers in the ISTD Ballet, Tap and Modern syllabus, also offering Musical theatre classes, Flexibility and adult fitness classes. There are a lot of performance opportunities within the dance academy, inculding our bi-annual show, festivals and events in the local area. Both children and adults have the option to take an examination in their class, which builds on confidence, technique and performance.
Classes are held in our fully equipped dance studio, including Harlequin dance floor, ballet barres, full length dance mirrors and changing rooms.
All teachers are qualified ISTD teachers and hold DBS and First Aid certificates.
"My little one attends the ballet class with Claire and she absolutely loves it!! I usually can't leave her at a class on her own but she has no problems following Claire and all the other kids in the room where she runs out about 30 minutes later brimming with excitement about the fun she had and the new moves she's learnt!!
Claire is great with the kids - highly highly recommend Claire Andrews if you're looking for your little one to get in to dancing / drama performance."
"My daughters love to come to CADA every week for their ballet lesson. Miss Claire is so kind and very patient with the little tots. She makes them feel special and push them to try their best every lesson so they'll be rewarded with the so much wanted Dancer of the Week trophy.
Her classes are full with props to assist the children coordinating their movements and learn basic steps. She also motivates them to use their imagination, making up stories in order to help them to express themselves through dance. They have always had a session packed full with fun."
"My daughter was just 3 years old when she started classes at the Claire Andrews Dance Academy and felt at home there straight away. A year later, she still loves the classes and "Miss Claire" and enjoys nothing more than re-enacting the whole lesson on her return home.
