PRINCIPAL – CLAIRE LOUISE ANDREWS

Claire started dancing at the age of 3 at local dance schools, performing in Festivals, competitions and end of year shows. At the age of 16, Claire then went to train at Preston Dance College on the ‘Professional Dancers and Teachers of Dance’ course for 3 years. Here she gained her DDE ISTD teaching qualifications in Modern, Tap and Ballet.
After leaving college, Claire got several professional dancing jobs abroad, touring hotels in Greece, weddings and corporate events in India and performed in a water show ‘Water Rouge’ in China. Her most recent and most exhilarating job in 2013 was at the Benidorm Palace in Spain, as a dancer in ‘Nostalgia’.
Claire has now settled down into teaching dance classes to children and adults, sharing her experience and knowledge to enable students’ to reach their potential, as well as having fun in lessons. She is super excited to continue teaching, running the school and watching the school grow.

Miss Annabel

Annabel has trained in a wide variety of genres including, ballet, jazz, tap, commercial, contemporary and modern dance and she has taken part in many big performance productions in venues including, Sadler’s Wells and Her Majesty’s Theatre in London. She has further performed at local theatres with her dance schools since the age of two, doing annual productions as well as Christmas and Easter pantomimes. Over her time dancing she has taken examinations in RAD Ballet, ISTD Tap, ISTD Modern Theatre, and UDO Street Dance, as well as studying AQA GCSE and A-Level Dance. Annabel graduated from The University of Gloucestershire with a First Class Degree after studying Dance BA (Hons). She represented the university competing in competitions as a member of the Tap and Commercial team. Alongside her degree Annabel was working towards her DDE teaching qualification in Modern Theatre which she is continuing to complete. She has previously worked inclusively with disabled students at the National Star College and over the past year has been teaching at a variety of dance schools.

Miss Lucy

Lucy ARAD QUALIFIED TEACHER trained at Ballet West in Scotland completing her BA (Hons) Professional Dance Degree with a 1st. She has extensive experience in dance in national and international competitions including ‘BBC Young Dancer’ 2018 – Finalist, ‘Genee International Ballet Competition’ – Hong Kong 2018 Finalist, ‘Scottish Youth Grand Prix’ 2019, RAD Ruth French Award and Best Achievement Graduate Award – Ballet West 2019. As well as competitions, Lucy has many performing credits to her name including; Principal Guest Artist as the Sugar Plum Fairy in ‘The Nutcracker’, ‘Swan Lake’ and ‘Giselle’ in Galway, Ireland.
Lucy now wishes to pass on her knowledge, experience and passion for dance to all students from beginners to aspiring dancers, making the dancing environment inspiring and friendly whilst maintaining discipline for this demanding art.
